show. And, it is nice to know that the avid listeners of this Atlanta radio station are mainly college kids and twenty-somethings that enjoy today's modern rock music.
96 Rock FM Radio Station
This Atlanta radio station is specifically located on the FM band, at 96.1, with their call letters being WKLS. It is worth noting that the Regular Guys, one of the most successful morning shows, of this radio station just came back to 96 Rock after a year of suspension for an indecency violation. The show was actually well-known for offering no0-holds barred commentary on everything from politics to pop culture. In terms of its listeners, it is interesting to note that the Atlanta Braves baseball fans usually tune in at 96 Rock Atlanta radio station for live baseball game broadcasts, and a primarily make audience listens religiously to the Regular Guys show, while the classic music fans make up the rest of this Atlanta radio station's listener base.
Smooth Jazz 107.5
Located at 107.5, the WJZZ-FM Smooth Jazz morning show is regularly hosted by Greg Fitzgerald. However, there are also other personalities hosting the shows at this station. Maria Lopez does middays, Renee Miller does afternoon drive time, and David Kosh does evenings. 92.9 DAVE FM Radio Station
DAVE FM is but another popular Atlanta radio station located on the FM dial at 92.9. Just like the other mentioned Atlanta radio stations, DAVE FM hosts a morning show with all access to Barnes and Firfer. Barnes is a veteran radio personality who worked formerly on the Morning X on 99X, while Firfer hails from CNN. Also, at this radio station, Mara Davis works as a DJ, hosting the popular Radio Free Lunch show every weekdays. There is Erik who does the afternoons, and Margot who does the evenings. Today, DAVE FM competes with the listeners of the 99X radio station. And, DAVE FM is trying to lure listeners with its fresh music mix that includes song that generally connect with the Generation X crowd. Note that as claimed, these songs played by DAVE FM are not found in other Atlanta radio stations' playlists.
Braves Radio 640 GST
As the name implies, this AM radio station broadcasts live Atlanta Braves games, in addition to being in news and talk radio format. Also, at this station, Tom Hughes hosts the morning show, while Rush Limbaugh manages the lunchtime slot. And, the Kimmer comes on in during afternoons.
